Twomey Cellars is owned by the Duncan family, founders of Silver Oak Cellars. Their commitment to producing exceptional handcrafted wines is the driving force behind the winery’s success.
Raymond Twomey Duncan came to the Napa Valley in the late 1960s, soon becoming involved in the fledgling wine industry. With his four sons, Ray launched Twomey Cellars in 1999, based on Winemaker Daniel Baron’s vision of creating a world-class California Merlot by pairing extraordinary fruit with classical winemaking techniques.
Today, Duncan’s sons David and Tim, both Managing Partners, carry this vision forward while managing the day-to-day operations of Twomey.
