Christina Pällmann Joins Twomey as Winemaker

We are thrilled to announce that Christina Pällmann has joined Twomey Cellars as our Winemaker.
Pällmann brings eleven years of international wine training and experience to her new role. Before taking this position she was the winemaker at Fritz Winery, located in Cloverdale.
In her role, Pällmann is responsible for the production of our wines made at our wineries in Calistoga and Healdsburg. We currently produce Napa Valley Merlot and Sauvignon Blanc and a Russian River Pinot Noir. She works closely with Director of Winemaking Daniel Baron to carry out our winemaking vision. “We are very excited to bring someone of Christina’s caliber to Twomey,” says Daniel Baron. “Christina brings a solid technical background and varied international experience to our winemaking team. Her enthusiasm and leadership will be well suited to our philosophy of excellence.”
Christina holds a Masters Degree in Enology and Viticulture from UC Davis and a Masters Degree in Political Science from LMU München. She has earned Bachelor Degrees in both French and Political Science from University of California Berkeley. She is fluent in English, German and French.
“I’m very excited to be working with vineyards in Sonoma and Napa, as well as the highly trained and polished facilities and teams of Twomey,” says Christina. “I hope to contribute my best to these already fabulous wines.”
