Grapes for Twomey Merlot come exclusively from the Soda Canyon Ranch in southeastern Napa Valley, a vineyard ideally suited to this varietal. In its mild climate, tempered by cool breezes and morning fog, Merlot ripens slowly and develops rich black-fruit character. Planted with top-notch French clones, the vineyard’s well-drained volcanic soils yield small crops of intensely flavored berries.
